In the fall we hosted a Directed Individual Study workshop here in our Asheville Studio. Attending were six very experienced artist-participants, each of whom have taken numerous previous workshops with us. CHECK OUT THIS WONDERFUL MINI-DOCUMENTARY about Steve Aimone's teaching and his Expressive Drawing book. Made by Emmy Award winning film-maker Stephen Menick, it'll be on PBS in the fall and is currently featured on the AARP website. It's exciting to watch. AARP's Hugh Delehanty (shown at left) participated in the workshop that was filmed and wrote a great essay about his experience of the event. |
